Worship

Sunday School

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn in-depth about the Word of God than larger groups are. For that reason, Chapel by the Sea has several Children’s, Youth, and Adult Bible study options on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am. The classes are held at various locations on our campus. Ask one of our greeters for help in directing you and your family members to the appropriate location(s).

Sunday Worship

We gather at 10:30 am to worship our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Pastor David Walkup preaches the whole Word of God without compromise to clearly present God’s one and only plan of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ, and to “equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ”. Ephesians 4:12

Our service combines the singing of traditional hymns as well as more contemporary praise songs.

The Lord’s Supper is administered the first Sunday of every month. All who have professed faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are welcome to participate regardless of denominational affiliation.

We welcome visitors and those who are seeking to join us and learn more about what the Chapel has to offer. There is no dress code, so come as you are and experience God’s love. There is no better time than the present to see the impact of what faith in God and the fellowship of a local church can have in your life. Come visit us and bring the whole family. We’d love to meet you!

Refreshments are served immediately following the worship service in the Memorial Building directly across the driveway from the Chapel. It is a wonderful time of fellowship, and all are welcome! Meeting for refreshments after the service is temporarily suspended due to the coronavirus.

Wednesday Mid-Week

Our mid-week Bible study begins at 6:30 pm and is a favorite of many of our members. Our mid-week gathering can take many forms. Pastor David may elect to do a traditional study or cover Biblical truths utilizing video studies from highly respected Christian leaders. This is of great benefit to the child of God who is hungry to understand and live according to God’s Word.

Seasonally, a delicious meal is served at 5:45 pm in the Memorial Building directly across the driveway from the Chapel prior to the mid-week study. This is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the bonds of friendship as we enjoy a wonderful meal together. There is a suggested donation of $5.00 per person. Meal service is temporarily suspended due to the coronavirus.
